EDIT: I think I found the solution! Would be good to know in comments if this works for anyone else. Go to Spotify App/Settings, scroll down, and disable 'Spotify Connect in background'. (I think this may be a new setting which they've added? In which case, it's appreciated!) - When I am conne. Download the Alexa app, open it, and link your Spotify account with these steps: Tap the menu in the top-left. Tap Settings, then Music & Podcasts. Select Spotify, then Link account to Alexa. Enter your Spotify account details.
